Matches that explain themselves

Tell us your services, areas, typical job size and the accreditations you hold. Each tender gets a fit score with the reasons behind it — and a warning when the notice asks for something you haven't got, like ISO 9001, £10m insurance or a turnover you're under.

  • Daily or weekly email of new matches
  • Saved searches for anything else you want to watch

Upload the buyer's documents and get a plain-English pack: what they actually want, every date that matters, the pass/fail checks, the evidence to gather and each question you'll need to answer, with an outline built from your own past answers.

It helps you prepare — it can't promise you'll win, and you should always check the buyer's documents yourself.

Where the tenders come from

One search across the UK's official notice services, updated every 20 minutes, with duplicates removed. We don't claim to find every contract in the UK — here's exactly what's covered.

Find a Tender

The UK government's central notice service. Since February 2025, new opportunities under the Procurement Act — large and small — are published here, including Wales and Northern Ireland, plus pipeline and award notices.

Contracts Finder

Notices and awards for procurements started under the older rules, which are still running through. Copies of notices already on Find a Tender are hidden.

Public Contracts Scotland

Scottish public-sector notices, large and small, including quick-quote awards.

Not included: private-sector tenders, small quotes buyers don't have to advertise (usually under £12k–£30k), and mini-competitions run privately inside frameworks.

Questions

Why pay when Find a Tender is free?

You can search the official sites yourself, and we link to them on every notice. What you pay for is time: one search across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, tenders matched to your business with the reasons shown, warnings about requirements you may not meet, alerts, contracts coming up for renewal, buyer and competitor profiles, a pipeline with reminders, subcontracting leads and help preparing the bid.

Will you find every contract?

No service can honestly promise that. We cover the official UK notice services listed above. Private-sector tenders and some buyers' own portals aren't included yet.

Can you guarantee I'll qualify or win?

No. Fit scores and bid packs are there to help you decide and prepare. The buyer's notice and documents are the final word on requirements and deadlines, and you're responsible for what you submit.

What happens to the documents I upload?

The text is read in your browser and sent securely to our AI provider to create your bid pack. We keep the pack it produces, not the original files.

Can my team use one account?

The Business plan includes up to 5 people sharing one pipeline, library and set of bid packs.

How do I pay, and how do I cancel?

Pay monthly by card through Stripe — choosing a plan during your free trial doesn't charge you until the trial ends. Change or cancel any time from Settings, Plan. When you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for.

What's the partner finder?

A place to team up with other small firms — to bid together for contracts too big for one business, or to find subcontract work. Listing is optional, and your email and phone number are never shown; messages reach you by email and you choose whether to reply.

Do you show how quickly councils pay?

Yes, where the buyer has published one. Under the Procurement Act, public bodies publish twice-yearly payment reports, and we show the figures on each buyer's profile so you know what to expect before you bid.

Is there a phone app?

Yes. TendersNearMe installs straight from your browser, with no app store needed. On Android, open the site in Chrome and tap Install when asked (or Install app in the ⋮ menu). On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens full screen with your matches, pipeline and closing dates, and you can also install it on a computer from Chrome or Edge.
